Design and Implementation of an Agricultural Product-focused Data Platform for Use Across the Industry Value Chain

Industry value chain management of agricultural products requires the support of big data. This paper describes a design for a big data platform to serve an entire agricultural industry value chain. The data platform includes a data index system, a data analysis model, the model's data security and on-demand support. The platform supports automatic acquisition, dynamic updating, multi-source data storage and data governance, and provides data visualization analysis, industry monitoring and early warning, and industry intelligence analyses and reports for relevant entities in the industry value chain. The platform effectively enables the production processing, and distribution of information and data to promote streamlined agricultural production and market operations, and thus supports the steady development of the industry. This paper also offers insight into the construction of a big data platform for an entire agricultural industry value chain.
