Abstract:

In the breeding and introduction of cold-resistant peach, the cold resistance of parents and superior superior varieties is often evaluated by field natural investigation. The evaluation of field natural investigation is affected by the regional and uncertainty of natural conditions, with high cost, long evaluation cycle, poor differentiation and lot of interference factors. At the same time, it is difficult to evaluate the cold resistance potential of resources we have got. Under the condition of artificial simulation of low temperature, the semi-lethal temperature is determined by conductivity method, electrical impedance method, etc. combined with the logistic equation, and the cold resistance ability of peach resources is quickly preliminarily determined, which is of great significance for mining excellent cold-resistant peach germplasm and accelerating the breeding and introduction of cold-resistant peach. In this study, the electrolyte leakage rate of one-year branches of peach trees under different low temperatures and the logistic equation were used to calculate the semi lethal temperature LT50, to evaluate the cold resistance of 22 peach resources in the peach resource nursery of the fruit tree Research Institute of the CAAS in Xingcheng City, Liaoning Province. And it provides a scientific basis for the introduction and breeding of cold resistant peach.

Key words: peach, cold resistance, semi lethal temperature
