Abstract:

Changde has a long history of citrus cultivation. Citrus industry is an important source of farmers' income in this city. Surveying local natural enemy resources is the first step of resource protection and utilization. In this study, coccinellid resources in citrus orchard were collected through regular and fixed-point investigation, with a large number of environmental pictures, ecological and specimen pictures of coccinellids taken. Therefore, the dataset was established. It described occurrences of 15 natural enemy coccinellid species in citrus orchards from 2018 to 2020, supported by 105 environmental photos, 1206 ecological specimen photos and 43 sample bottle photos. Data on key features of coccinellid species and population dynamics provide references for conservation and utilization of these natural enemies and for ecological research. These data also provide materials for developing coccinellid Aatificial Intelligence identification systems.
