Abstract:

Conservation and utilization of natural enemies is central to the ecological regulation and management of pests population, and it is also an important measure to enhance populations of the natural enemies with the goal of achieving long-term sustainable regulation and control of pests in tea gardens. Predatious Coccinellidae is one of the most important predatory enemy guild in tea gardens, which has a good natural control effect on aphids, whiteflies, scale insects, mites and other small tea pests. However, there are few long-term observational studies on the species and the occurrence regularity of the Coccinellidae in tea gardens. In this study, we collected the Coccinellidae species and monitored the occurrence dynamics of dominant species such as Harmonia axyridis and Chilocorus kuwanae in the tea gardens of West Lake Longjing Tea core region, which located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, from 2019 to 2021,established a dataset contents Coccinellidae species and population dynamics, habitat pictures of the survey site, Coccinellidae ecological and specimen pictures. This provides a basis for understanding the species and dynamic occurrence of ladybirds in tea gardens, and also provides data support for the development of ladybirds protection and image recognition technology in the future.
